Relationship Counselling

  • Difficulties in relationships are one of the most common causes of unhappiness perhaps causing distress, disappointment, guilt, rejection and loneliness.    Counselling for couples or individuals can be useful in providing a safe, supportive, non-judgemental space to explore difficult feelings and thoughts and gain a clearer understanding of negative dynamics within the relationship.

  • Often it is easier to explore difficulties in the presence of a professional counsellor, in a confidential and controlled setting. Seeking therapy as a couple or individual can offer insights into how to improve communication within the relationship and help discover positive modes of relating and constructive ways to move forward.

  • Relationship problems can be experienced by all couples, with their own unique situation and issues to resolve. All couples, regardless of sexual orientation or marital status, can benefit from counselling. Similarly individuals may also benefit from relationship therapy if they are having difficulty finding a partner.
